The Jonathan Hibbert Foundation would like to welcome you to our new membership site, where students/players can register using the sidebar on the right and commence updating their profiles and profile pictures. Coaches will also be able to search through the players page and look out for some of the wonderful talent that is out there. The site is however, still undergoing major changes, so you may or may not have noticed that the “Projects” and “Scholarship” pages have not been included, but please don’t despair as we are working on having them back up in the new year, along with a blogging section for past and present students/players to update everyone on what they are up to before, during and after tournaments. There will also be an area to view photos and videos, and a tournament information page.
We would also like to inform you of the annual JHF Cup Competition takes place at Munro College, St Elizabeth, Jamaica W.I. on the first Saturday in January each year. This competition enables bright young athletes to display their skills to invited coaches from prestigious universities in the United States of America with the aim of gaining an athletic scholarship.

This year’s JHF annual memorial Tournament was one of our best yet with 5 coaches from Universities attending from across the U.S. .
We did things a little differently this year with a coaching session by the U.S coaches for local Jamaican coaches on the Friday at Treasure Beach Sports Park.
We had 380 student athletes try out for more than 60 scholarships from 11 U.S Universities and 47 students were successful this year. We had excellent feedback from the U.S coaches who commented that “this was the best in terms of quality players and games he has ever seen”
On the Sunday as part of our community outreach programme a total of 300 boys U14, U19 and U21 came out and received professional coaching from the U.S coaches. We would like to thank the coaches in assisting us to give to the local Treasure Beach community.
This was followed by an awards ceremony for those people and organisations that have assisted us over the years. Big Thanks to Kevin, Ziggy, Mr Powell, Bernard Henry, Daphne Holmes and the Treasure Beach Hotel, Jakes Hotel and Munro College.
